The Beginning

Hello Internet!

Since this is my first post, I will tell you a little about myself. My name is Bunny, and I am 28 years old. I'll be turning 29 on April 29th (golden birthday, yay)! and I am celebrating my first wedding anniversary on February 15th this year, in two weeks! I am working on getting my MBA in Human Resources Management, and I already have an Associate's in Science and a Bachelor's in Anthropology. I really don't like Business at all but I'm doing it for better job opportunities... :-/

I am currently working on my first book, a fantasy novel. This blog is here to help with practicing writing and to keep the creative juices flowing. So look back here every so often to see new content. Thank you all!

First off, I'd like to thank SuperCarlinBrothers on Youtube for giving me this idea. Here's the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6cODw_Tekc The video had addressed how many of Pixar's films had failed the Bechdel Test, a simple test developed by Alison Bechdel that addresses gender bias in works of fiction. Originally a test for films, it can be applied to all forms of fiction. Unfortunately, approximately half of all contemporary films fail the test, and there are only three simple rules to follow: 1) There at least two women who are named, 2) They hold a conversation, and 3) The topic of conversation is about something other than a man. Seems fairly simple right?  Well, the fact the half of all films fail the test is astonishing to say the least.
